Full Job Description

The National HCV paediatric Multi-Disciplinary Operational Delivery Network (HCV/MDT) is focused on working with NHS England Elimination Team whose primary objective is to Eliminate Hepatitis C in 2025, 5 years ahead of the World Health Organisation target of Global Elimination in 2030.

The National HCV MDT provides a sustainable high quality, responsive national paediatric service ensuring equitable treatment to all children and young adults (3-18years) delivering care closer to home.

The Assistant project coordinator promotes the provision of sustainable, high quality, responsive paediatric services within our region and the ODN Support project coordinator is a central link for all our network partner's service's needs.

The Assistant project coordinator plays a key role, in the development, management and co-ordination of the Multi-Disciplinary National Hepatitis C Service (HCV MDT) and associated Joint UKSA/HCV MDT) Paediatric Tracking project. To ensure the HCV MDT meets the requirements set out by NHS England relating to data collection, identifying all children and young adults (3-18years) identified by UKHSA as testing positive for HCV whose outcome is unknown.

Networks are autonomous bodies that are hosted by Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust and the post holder will be required to work flexibly nationally and ensure collaborative working for the benefits of HCV patients., oAction incoming emails addressed to HCV MDT ODNo Be responsible for organising network meetings both locally and nationally, taking accurate minutes and follow up of actions required.o Support performance improvement through prioritising workloads for the HCV MDT ODNo Support, facilitate and monitor the progress of projects both internally for HCV MDT ODN and Nationally

oAct as a point of contact for the HCV MDT ODN for clinical and non-clinical communication within the trust and to outside agencies.oProduce accurate, timely, well-presented documentation and confidential correspondence.o Work with stakeholderso The postholder will have the ability to deal with complex and sensitive informationo Provide project administrative support to project co-ordinatoro The post holder will have access to confidential patient information, which may only be disclosed to parties entitled to receive it.o Demonstrate accuracy and 'attention to detail' with all aspects of work,o To develop and implement administrative standard operating procedureso To manage elements of specific projects for individual networkso Facilitate the development and implementation of shared working agreementso Develop and maintain an accurate system of recording case details, actions taken, referral information and outcomeso The post holder will adhere to the Data Protection Act and maintain
patient confidentiality at all times seeking information and support from colleagues as required as the project develops
