HGV C&E CLASS 1 DRIVER Fixed term contract

Pay Rate: £37,694.37 (£17.06 Per Hour) plus shift premiums of £1.64 per hour between 2000-0500 Contract Type: FIXED TERM CONTRACT Shift patterns: Thursday to Monday PM/Night Shifts Location: Swindon - SN3 4TT DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver Class 1 Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT UNTIL THE END OF 2024 WORKING ACROSS THE WEEKEND IN GENERAL WORKING a 42.5 hour per week at £17.06 Per Hour , any overtime paid at £21.33 Per Hour and a 6th shift at £21.33 Per Hour . PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ALSO BE CONSIDERING FULL TIME POSTIONS AT THE END OF THIS FTC PERIOD. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will: considering

• Working a Thursday, Friday , Saturday , Sunday , Monday on PM/LATE start times between 1500-1900 in general .
• Role will consist of container work to ports, trunking to a network of DC's or store delivery work on behalf of our client from our Swindon DC.
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card .
• New passes will also be considered .
• 6 to 12 months of actual HGV/LGV experience is preferred on this role
