HGV Class 1 drivers

FORGE LOGISTICS LTD is a veteran-owned and operated company based in Euxton. We have a long-established relationship with the world's largest online retailer and are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team. What Does The Job Involve?

• Mainly night shifts - subject to change on a weekly basis
• Pure driving - no handling of the load
• 4 on, 4 off rota (with extra days possible subject to your availability)
• Start times vary - your flexibility is required week-to-week
• All work scheduled via a special app
• Thorough vehicle checks
• Adherence to all driving and working time regulations What Do We Offer?
• Mon-Fri, 150 per shift ; Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) , 165 per shift
• Full fleet of Iveco CNG trucks 71 and 72 plate
• Guaranteed pay for cancelled shifts
• Monthly pay (PAY)
  
  ESSENTIAL: to have held a CE licence for at least 1 year
• ESSENTIAL: consistent Class 1 work since passing / most recently (min. 6 months)
• ESSENTIAL: experience of commercial night driving
• Professionalism: a sense of ownership & responsibility
• An adapt & overcome mentality, How many years of consistent Class 1 driving experience do you have? How many years of Class 1 night driving experience do you have?
  
  10-12 hour shifts working a 4/4 rota with extras available (subject to WTD regulations and availability) Mon-Fri shifts = 150 per shift Yearly Salary: 30000 - 42000 Sat-Sun (and Bank Holidays) = 165 New starters will begin on the current rate, but see an increase to 155 Mon-Fri; 170 (Sat,Sun & Bank Holiday) after probation.
