HGV Class 1 Drivers (Days, Nights or Tramping Available) - Sun-Thurs shift pattern - based Tamworth Pay Rate: £16.46 per hour - plus night shift premium £1.81 per hour between 18:00-06:00, Weekend hourly premiums Saturday £1.32 per hour and Sun £2.47 per hour Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) £41,084 basic on a 48 hour week plus shift premiums Shift patterns available: Fixed shifts of Thursday to Sunday Location: Tamworth (B78 3HJ) DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Start times available on Days between 01:00-07:00 or Nights between 15:00-23:00 ( 3 hour start window) or Tramping (4 nights out per week -£ 26/ night out)
Shift patterns available: Thursday to Sunday (please note this involves working Saturday and Sunday). Some flexibility with the tramping roles but must be able to commit to 4 nights out per week
Nationwide RDC bay delivery work and backhauls, supplier collections - curtain sided trailer work
Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Have a MINIMUM of 4 months LGV C+E (HGV Class 1) 'on the road' commercial driving experience and have curtain sided trailer experience
Ideally have RDC delivery experience
Live locally to Tamworth
