HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

Pay Rate: £41,460.00 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday AM 0400-0700 (48 hour average week) Location: Wellingborough, NN8 2DH DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class 1 HGV Tramper Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Monday to Thursday 0400-0700 , 48 average week with 2-3 nights out per week in general (night out allowance paid).
• Carrying out Class 1 bulk deliveries across the UK from our customers site in Wellingborough .
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• You will hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• For this role we require at least a year of actual Class 1 HGV driving experience and experience of Double Deck trailers would be preferable.
