HGV Class 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £27,000.66 Plus £26.20 Night out Rate plus Overtime Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Ashton Under Lyne - OL7 0AX DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Class 2 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Work Mon-Fri day shifts, 6.30am start time (Approx 10 hours Overtime available per week at Time and a half available)
• Complete nights out shifts (Min twice a week)
• Operate Class 2, 18 tonne curtainsided double deck vehicle with moving platform
• Use hand held terminal to track products and deliveries
• Deliver our products to commercial properties nationwide
• Operate pallet truck when delivering goods
• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
