HGV Class 2 Driver

Pay Rate: £35,925.11, opportunity to do overtime paid at 1.5p/h Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, start times can be between 4:00am - 10:30am Location: Manchester, M17 1WT DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a HGV Driver Class 2 to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• You will delivering canteen supplies, ambient, chilled and frozen food into the prison services which is palletised.
• Pushing and Pulling dollies up to 200kg
• There will be around 3 to 4 drops per day.
• Shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.
• Shift times can start from 4am - 11am depending on which route you are allocated.
• MANUAL HANDLING WILL BE REQUIRED.

• Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
