Full Job Description

HGV Class 2 Ro-Ro Driver

Industry: Environment

Location: Isle of Wight

Hours: see below

Days: see below

Duration: Temporary ongoing, immediate start ( may be temp to perm for the right candidate)

Duties:

2 positions available:

1x 10am - 9.30pm, Friday - Monday
1x 9.30am - 9pm, Tuesday - Friday

Complete daily vehicle and plant checks, logging faults on system and reporting defects to workshop,
Collecting and returning containers to and from household waste recycling centres and waste treatment plant.
Operation of plant
Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

Experience:

Must have valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph.
Previous Ro-Ro experience is an advantage however newly passed HGV Drivers will also be considered.
Experience of the island's road network is preferred.
Must have a good understanding of health and safety and the ability to use computerised systems.

Salary: £14.03 per hour
