Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, energetic professional HGV drivers in support of our Transport & Logistics Division.,

  • Be able to conduct mandatory pre use, during and post checks & report any

    • defects as applicable;

  • Willing to undertake familiarisation training on different company assets;

  • Adhere to delivery schedule & routes whilst adhering to a high level of

    • professionalism & customer service;

  • Taking pride in company assets ensuring they are cleaned, maintained,

    • roadworthy in accordance with both statutory requirements & company policy &
    procedures;

  • Completing necessary paperwork/documentation accurately, including waste &

    • delivery notes;

  • Assist in loading, securing & unloading;


  • Adhere to company Driving Policy & procedures;


  • Manual handling, Working at Height & Banksman duties

    Ability to work safely;


  • Ability to interact with customers & the general public;


  • A detailed understanding of Drivers Hours & the Working Time Directive, traffic

    • laws & regulations, Licence/Certification
  • Hold a valid driving licence (category C & or C+E essential) minimum of 2 years

  • Hold a valid & in date Digital Tacho Card & Driver Certificate Professional

    • Competence Card
  • Mandatory licence check via DVLA prior to any consideration

    • Experience
  • Previous experience within the waste/recycling industry (advantageous)
