Full Job Description
We are currently looking for HGV Drivers to join our supportive network of HGV drivers at our Rochford Operation Centre. You'll be working from Monday to Friday, with no nights out or bank holiday working, so you'll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself. Copart is the global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, working in partnership with many of the world's leading insurance companies, banks, automotive dealers, fleet and rental car companies. We currently operate in more than 200 locations in 11 countries and have over 125,000 vehicles up for auction every day. We've seen large scale growth since we entered the UK market in 2007 and have exciting plans to continue this growth. A Copart Driver loads, collects and delivers predominantly accident damaged vehicles of all shapes, sizes and conditions on our salvage transporters and therefore the role can be physically demanding. We work on behalf of our insurance and automotive customers, to service agreements. They carry out internal and external checks on their trucks and equipment and report any defects, photograph any damage and carry out inspections of all collected and delivered vehicles. Copart Drivers must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.
No transporter experience? No problem - we'll provide you with everything you need! You'll be supported through 3 weeks of the very best job related 1-2-1 training and benefit from our bespoke designed annual CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, we are able to upskill to C+E after successful completion of your probationary period. What skills do you need to have?

- Current CPC
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- A good understanding of the EU Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills

- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications

What we offer you in return: - Monday to Friday working
