Full Job Description
The MOT Driver / Presenter's role within TruckEast is responsible for ensuring the MOT process is fully completed for all vehicles, including all required preparation and necessary logistics. They are also responsible for management of the yard, including basic site maintenance as and when required. Essential duties and responsibilities To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to assist and then after an allotted training period perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Maintain communication with customers
- Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
- Ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, tidiness and basic site maintenance
- Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses
- Ensure 3rd party work is carried out correctly
- Ensure MOT process is carried out and followed in full, before vehicle is presented, including QC
- Maintain a good relationship with DVSA examiners
- Collect and deliver customer and company vehicles when necessary
- Any other duties relevant to the smooth and efficient operation of the department as determined by your manager
