Full Job Description
- Safely operate HGV flatbed trucks to transport goods, materials, or equipment to designated locations, following traffic laws and regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of flatbed trailer, checking tires, brakes, lights, fluids, and other essential components to ensure roadworthiness
- Multidrop fuel and oil deliveries, lubricants and fuel boxes to commercial and domestic customers
- Monday to Friday (45 Working hours per week)
- Weekend availability is required during the busy winter period
- Overtime opportunities available and encouraged
Full CPC licence along with your Digi Tacho card - HGV Class 2 Driving Licence with 6 points or less
- Previous multi-drop experience an advantage
- Previous Tanker experience an advantage You should be:
- Approachable and Professional with Excellent Customer Service
- Compliant with a positive attitude towards H&S and Quality Control
- A company person who understands the values and strategy of the business
- Flexible to the needs of the business and able to work earlier/later during our busiest months
- Able to work at a fast pace under pressure
- Efficient and able to manage your time well
- Be IT literate with the ability to operate smartphones and other handheld devices.
Salary £31,000 - Private Health benefits after 1 year of employment
- Death in Service benefit after 1 year's employment
- Attendance Bonus (Up to £750 per year)
- Performance Bonus (Up to £1200 per year)
- Overtime paid at time and a half after daily 9 hours worked.
- 20 days holiday per year plus which increases with each year of service (up to 25 days). Plus 8 days bank holiday.
