HGV Mechanic

Neway currently has a vacancy for a HGV Mechanic to join our client based with Reigate and Banstead Borough Council., To carry out repair and maintenance services to the council's fleet of vehicles, plant and associated equipment, including our Grounds Maintenance equipment.

To ensure that all maintenance and repair work is carried out to a high standard and that vehicles comply with DVSA standards and in accordance with the terms of the Councils Operators Licence at all times.

To ensure that maximum vehicle availability is maintained at all times.

To ensure that all relevant administration work is completed in a timely manner. You will be working as part of an excellent team in a busy workshop near Redhill. The ability of the Council to provide the essential services expected by local residents is reliant on having good vehicle availability maintained to a very high standard.
