Full Job Description

My client is a well established form based on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray

They are currently looking to recruit a HGV / Plant fitter to join their team on a full time, permanent basis

The Role:

  • Carrying out vehicle maintenance including servicing, inspections, defect repairs, MOT preparations and breakdowns as well as any other work requested by the Manager.

  • You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to understand instructions given by the manager.


    • Essential:
  • Experience working on HGV and Plant vehicles.

  • Experience in the use of diagnostics equipment or the ability to learn.

  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Understanding of MOT standards and legal compliance.

  • Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.


    • Desirable:
  • HGV licence Class 2/1

  • Experience with vehicle or plant electrical systems.


    • Salary is negotiable dependant on experience

  • You must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and be able to understand instructions given by the manager.
