Full Job Description

Applications are invited for an HGV / Service Delivery Driver - Class C based at our SecAnim Ltd, Cornwall Site. This is a full-time permanent position, working 48 hours per week. This will be Monday to Friday or working 5 days from a possible 6 Monday to Saturday. Flexibility is required with respect of working hours in line with UK Domestic Rules and customer demands.
Please note that this position involves the collection and disposal of CAT1 material and fallen stock.
As an HGV Driver / Service Delivery Driver - Class C, the duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:
+ To drive in accordance with UK Domestic Regulations
+ To drive the Company's HGV vehicle, Class C.
+ Operate the vehicle equipment including the bin lift, tipper body etc.
+ Complete the required documentation (including Driver Records and Collection Records).
+ To follow safe working procedures when tipping/unloading the vehicle.
+ Ensure the vehicle is well maintained and clean and undertake the required vehicle checks.
+ To act as an ambassador on behalf of the Company, ensuring that the client is treated courteously and respectfully.
+ Drive in accordance with Driver performance criteria requirements.

+ Candidates should hold a full, clean Driving licence - HGV Class C essential.
+ Be smart in appearance (uniform is provided) and have a pleasant manner.
+ Have knowledge of vehicle tipping operations. (Training will be given)
+ Have the ability to demonstrate understanding of Tachograph Regulations (UK Domestic Rules)
+ Full Driver CPC Training and CPC card.
+ Hold a digital tachograph driver card.
