Full Job Description
We have an excellent opportunity for a Workshop Fitter to join our depot in Havant, this position will require you to work 40hours per week, Monday to Friday., As Workshop Fitter, you will be responsible for the upkeep of the company fleet of LGV and HGV vehicles ensuring all vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired in accordance with Operators Licence requirements. You will also prepare vehicles for annual tests, road test vehicles to certify roadworthiness and attend breakdowns on a rota system. This is an exciting role for an experienced fitter looking to develop and share their expertise with a knowledgeable team.
- City & Guilds Part 3 in motor vehicles studies or equivalent.
- Category C+E Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance standards required for HGV operation.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety and its impact in vehicle repair operations.
- Experience in the inspection, repair and maintenance of all types of large and small commercial vehicles.
