Full Job Description

We are excited to offer a Higher Assistant Psychologist post within the Memory Assessment Service at Alexander House in Knaresborough. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the clinical work of psychologists within the service, including administering standardised assessments, scoring and interpreting test data and other duties that directly impact upon patient care. The post holder will be well supported by our friendly team and given regular clinical supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist and will be supported with their development goals e.g. further clinical training., We are looking for a post holder who will thrive amongst the multi-disciplinary team of professionals to assess, plan and provide patient care. You will work within a team of Registered Mental Health nurses, Support worker, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, as well as wider partner agencies including primary care services, social care and voluntary sector agencies.
