Higher Grade Maintenance Technician Grade 6 (3 Posts)

We have an exciting opportunity for a multi skilled Building Services Technician, core mechanical with suitable mechanical qualifications, where you will be joining a close-knit team in a varied role in Liverpool City Centre. This is a brilliant position for a person already in a similar Facilities Maintenance / Building Services / Multi Skilled Engineer role. The successful applicate will be placed on an on-call rota which attracts additional enhancements and there is an opportunity to join the Universities USS Pension Scheme. The role will include:

• Multi Skilled Engineer Mechanical Technician with electrical experience
• Servicing, Maintenance and repair work across various types of buildings
• PPM visits and reactive repairs of Mechanical plant and equipment, air handling units, cold-water boosters, pumps etc.
• Plant room checks
• Manage CAFM system
• HVAC maintenance
  
  Knowledge of BMS
• Post-training experience working in a team-oriented, multi-skilled maintenance role (i.e. mechanical / electrical)
• General technical knowledge of, and demonstrable fault diagnostic skills on, building & services heating and ventilation systems
• Able to work without direct technical supervision and can organise self and to work with others to operate effectively as part of the group
You will have ONC / HNC mechanical qualifications or equivalent i.e. NVQ, be immediately available, wanting a days-based role and have prior experience in Facilities Maintenance / Building Services.

£32,333 to £37,100 pa
