Are you an experienced teaching assistant looking to take the next step in your career? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic primary school in Nottinghamshire as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
Responsibilities
As an HLTA, you will:
+ Support Teaching and Learning: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, providing support to the class teacher and leading small group sessions.
+ Deliver Interventions: Implement targeted intervention programs to support pupils with specific learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
+ Assess and Monitor Progress: Assist in the assessment of pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
+ Manage Classroom Activities: Take responsibility for managing classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
+ Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and school leaders to share best practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
+ Engage with Parents and Carers: Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in the learning process.
+ Commit to Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to continually improve your skills and knowledge.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
+ Relevant Qualifications: A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with extensive experience in a primary school setting.
+ Experience: Proven experience working as a teaching assistant, with a strong track record of supporting pupils' learning and development.
+ Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to their educational development.
+ Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
+ Organizational Skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic school environment.
+ Commitment to Inclusive Education: A dedication to promoting equality and diversity within the classroom.
