Hurst Lodge School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dynamic team with our specialist SEND setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students in a supportive and nurturing environment. Opportunities are available across our Junior and Senior School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences.

  • Lead small group activities and interventions tailored to students' needs.

  • Supporting across our specialist 'Lodge' provision within KS3 and KS4.

  • Support students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and ADHD.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.


  • Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with Autism and ADHD is essential.

  • Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs support.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
