We are seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant within the Humanities department. This role is to work closely with the Humanities department to support the progress and attainment of SEND students. The subjects supported would be negotiable at interview.

Edgbarrow School believes in setting the highest standards in all areas of school life and we are looking for a purposeful and committed individual who wants to join and enhance our strong team. We offer an excellent induction programme, and a highly supportive working environment. The HLTA role would also qualify in the admissions process for your child to attend Edgbarrow if you live out of catchment. This would come into operation after two years of service.

Edgbarrow is located in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire which is located approximately three miles from Wokingham and Camberley and 12 miles from Reading. It enjoys excellent links to surrounding villages, towns and cities via the M3, M4, A329M and local rail networks. It is a thriving, vibrant and high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated. It was recently judged by Ofsted as outstanding.

If you are interested in joining Edgbarrow School and you have the skills and the qualities required for this post, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Employment is with Corvus Learning Trust and not Bracknell Forest Council. The trust is very popular and for most posts a large number of applications are received - it is thus not possible to notify all applicants of the outcome. Please accept that if you have not heard within three weeks of the closing date then, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful - in which case we offer our best wishes for the future.

To apply for this post please complete the online application form via TES.
