Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4)

Reporting to your Phase Lead, you will be responsible for working with teachers to organise and

support teaching and learning activities for classes. The primary focus is to undertake specified work

with individuals, groups and whole classes under the direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our schools support team., The successful candidate must meet HLTA standards or equivalent qualification/experience, have a NVQ Level 3 Qualification in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent and must have GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English A

• -C. You also need a minimum of three years' experience working with children and experience of working in a relevant classroom environment, as well as supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.


You will need be able to obtain satisfactory DBS clearance for this position.
