Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be BSE accredited with a minimum of 3 years post accreditation experience and be competent to issue independent echo reports. You will be expected to provide teaching for medical and physiologist staff in echocardiography.
To Liaise effectively with the clinical lead technician in echocardiography to ensure that department and BSE guidelines are maintained and to make sure that the guidelines are up-to-date and relevant to current clinical and technical practice.
To participate in research projects within the department as necessary and to contribute to maintaining high standards of clinical practice with evidence via clinical audit.

As an expanding department the successful candidate will also have joint responsibility for managing capacity and demand of the echo service and be expected to be actively involved in service development.
