Full Job Description
The post holder will provide a specialist service in complex rehabilitation includingassessments and advice/treatment. This will include working with an experienced multi disciplinary team including case managers and social workers to provide specialist care forpatients including neuro and complex trauma injuries in an in-patient environment.
The National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) will transform the future of rehabilitation for people who have experienced injury or illness. Opening in Summer 2025, the NRC will be a new, purpose-built 70-bed facility which will be built on the Stanford Hall Rehabilitation Estate near Loughborough. It is co-located with the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre and will share some of the world class rehabilitation facilities. Thanks to an academic partnership led by the University of Nottingham and Loughborough University, research and innovation and training and education in rehabilitation will be embedded at the NRC and central to clinical practice.
