Full Job Description

The Scarborough, Whitby & Ryedale Early Intervention for Psychosis service is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Applied Psychologist or Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with competencies and experience in CBT for psychosis (CBTp). This post is on a fixed term basis whilst the current post holder is seconded to a CBTp research trial.

The successful applicant will join an active CBT and EIP community within the trust, with opportunities for CPD and teaching and other activities., The Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service in TEWV works to improve the detection and treatment of first episode of psychosis through providing high quality, evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery. The successful candidate will deliver and supervise cognitive behavioural therapy for psychosis for service users of the EIP team and provide other Psychological Professions leadership tasks in the service. Travel around the Scarborough Whitby Ryedale area will be required.
