An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and dynamic Cardiac Rhythm Management Team at The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Following a workforce review, we are proud to be able to offer a Band 6 Specialist Cardiac Physiology role or a Highly Specialist Band 7 role for those who have vast experience working in cardiac rhythm management and have gained accreditation.

    Applicants must have relevant cardiac rhythm management experience and be British Heart Rythm Accredited with the ability to work independently of applying for a Band 7 role or working towards this accreditation for a Band 6 position, this will be achieved within 18 months before moving to a Band 7.

    Our staff oversee over 6,500 patient contacts every day, delivering high standards of healthcare from the following sites:
  • o Freeman Hospitalo Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI)o Health Innovation Neighbourhood (on the former Newcastle General Hospital and Centre for Ageing and Vitality site)o Newcastle Dental Hospitalo Newcastle Fertility Centreo Northern Centre for Cancer Care, North Cumbriao Northern Genetics Serviceo Cramlington Manor Walks These include a range of flagship services which deliver cutting-edge care (supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic services in both radiology and pathology) and are a catalyst for innovation to support pioneering clinical practice in the NHS. We also have offices at Regent Point in Gosforth and community sites.
