Full Job Description

The Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Hub are looking for an experienced Clinical psychologist with the right skills to complement our Multi-disciplinary team.You will work within our newly commissioned day service and will network closely with our existing community teams and inpatient services helping families and young people to thrive.

As a new service there will be lots of opportunity for contributing to the new model of care for eating disorders in the region and opportunities for Audit and research to demonstrate our outcomes.Your clinical work will be a mixture of individual and group-based activities.

We will provide Supervision, training, and opportunities for professional development. We are passionate about improving standards and service user/carer experiences.

It would be preferable if you have experience working with young people and their families, and/or Eating disorders, but we are happy to receive applications from those who can demonstrate transferable skills.

This role will initially be based at our Ida Darwin site in Fulbourn before relocating in approx. 12 months (date TBC) toour Brookside Family Consultation Clinic in Cambridge., o To provide a qualified clinical psychology service, providing highly specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on clients' psychological care to non- psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the organisations policies and procedures.o To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/serviceo The post holder will provide a highly specialist psychology service to children/young people and their families/carers. The post holder will provide specialist psychological assessments for children/young people with highly complex presentations and psychological consultation to other professionals involved in their care.
