In this role you will offer clinical leadership in your specialist area, serving as an expert resource for dietitians and healthcare professionals. Additionally, you will oversee and manage Band 6 staff. The role supports ongoing professional development and supervision through Renal Nutrition Group Meetings and participation in UHL Satellite Group meetings.

Are you a skilled renal dietitian looking for a new challenge to lead and enhance our Renal Dietetic service? We are excited to offer a fixed-term position of 9-12 months within our Nutrition and Dietetic Team at Peterborough City Hospital (PCH). In this role, you will deliver highly specialised assessments and interventions to patients with complex renal conditions, collaborating with the renal multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide comprehensive care to both inpatients and outpatients within our nephrology service.
At PCH, we provide training for patients on Home Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis. Our site also features two dialysis units, managed as satellite units of Leicester University Hospitals NHS Trust (UHL), and an inpatient renal ward equipped with haemodialysis stations. Additionally, we offer regular nephrology clinics within our renal outpatient unit.
Depending on your experience, a Band 6-7 development post may be considered. There is potential for some remote work, and part-time hours (minimum 0.8 WTE) may also be accommodated.
