Full Job Description

You will be responsible for a varied and complex clinical caseload and the supervision of junior staff. You will lead theday-to-day delivery of the physiotherapy service on DRU and be actively involved in goal setting, discharge planning and contribute to service development projects.

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Physiotherapist who is passionate about working within the area of Neurological Rehabilitation. The Daniels Rehabilitation Unit provides level 2 specialist Neuro Rehabilitation for patients from NW Londonwith acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions., You must demonstrate excellent team working, a high level of communication skills within a multidisciplinary environment and want to continue to develop within the specialist area of Neurological Rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will:

-Gain experience and skill in treating complex neurological patients with a variety of neurological conditions, within an efficient and clinically effective physiotherapy service.

- Work within an established multidisciplinary neurological therapy team and develop close links within Northwest London Services across the patient pathway.

-Have the opportunity to be involved in ongoing development of the service and lead and participate in our in-house training programme.

We are looking for candidates who:

Have HCPC registration.

Have NHS experience at Band 6 level, including experience and established skills within neurological rehabilitation. Ideally you will have experience treating patients with acquired brain injuries due to various aetiologies, and patients with spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions.

Are hardworking, adaptable, possess high-level communications skills, initiative and self-motivation.
