Full Job Description

Within Bart's we offer arobust teachingandtrainingprogramme with the opportunity to completeQuality Improvementand Audit projects, we provide asupportiveandengagingenvironment to develop and grow our therapists. As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist you will have the opportunityto develop your own supervisory and management skills through supporting and supervising junior therapists, students and/or therapy support workers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality improvement and education within the acute medicine setting.

The role is for a part time, fixed term contract, covering maternity leave, starting on November 4th 2024 and includes covering a weekend service.

To play a major and specialist role in the advanced assessment, treatment and clinical management of patients with vascular disease, and patients pre and post major amputation. Determining clinical diagnosis, functional deficits and occupational treatment program required.

To be dynamic in developing efficient and effective occupational therapy working processes to assist in producing a fully multi-professional team approach.

To work with the Clinical Lead Therapist to develop the service to best meet changing health and social care agendas.

The post is responsible for a team of staff in their clinical area and may be required to work in more than one speciality area.

We are looking for a motivated and versatile team player to join our therapy teamwithin theSurgical and Amputee Team, The ideal candidate will have a passion forOccupational Therapy or Physiotherapy; excellent communication skills, plenty of initiative and enthusiasm with the ability to work autonomously and as a part of the wider MDT.
