Full Job Description

This role will be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, and will provide clinical pharmacy support to patients, families and staff. We are seeking a pharmacist who is passionate, dedicated, and motivated to learn about this area. In this role you will supported by the lead critical care and haematology pharmacists, the wider speciality teams and the pharmacy team as a whole., COVID-19 vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, your colleagues and of course patients from the virus when working in our healthcare settings. Whilst COVID-19 vaccination is not currently a condition of employment, we do encourage our staff to get vaccinated. If you are unvaccinated, there is helpful advice and information available by searching on the 'NHS England' website where you can also find out more about how to access the vaccination.

The Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is one of the largest children's critical care units in the UK.
We provide support and services for babies and children requiring highly invasive support and treatment either as an emergency admission or after planned specialist surgery in specialities such as trauma, burns, neurosurgery, general surgery, haematology/oncology and bone-marrow transplantation, neurology, metabolic medicine, renal, spinal surgery, ENT, respiratory, cardiology and endocrinology.
Our hospital also hosts one of the largest primary treatment centres for children's cancer services in the UK. We deliver an expanding and innovative JACIE accredited bone marrow transplant service, which includes CAR-T cellular therapy.
This unique, innovative role is to support patients on their transplant journey across both critical care and transplantation areas., MFT is one of the largest NHS Trust In England with a turnover of £2.6bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
