Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and holistic Physiotherapist to join our Community Neuro Rehab Service in Lambeth and Southwark.
The team offers short term multidisciplinary neuro rehabilitation and condition management to patients living with long term neurological conditions, such as Parkinson's Disease, MS, MND, as well as providing neuro rehabilitation to patients after newly acquired brain injuries.
Our intervention is person centred, goal oriented and we use a self-management approach encouraging patients to participate actively in their rehab.
We are a multi-disciplinary service consisting of Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehab Assistants, Psychologists and Social Workers., The post holder will work across the diverse boroughs of Lambeth & Southwark and utilises agile working to ensure that we can deliver services flexibly and effectively as needed. All staff are provided with mobile devices and work-related travel is reimbursed. Regular, direct clinical supervision is provided from a Band 8 Physiotherapist. We also support our staff with weekly peer supervision meetings, team huddles and direct Band 8a Operational Leadership
This post is static, allowing the successful applicant to develop their knowledge of local services and have an active role in service development as well as junior staff. The role is also well supported by the wider Neuro Rehab Service, consisting of our Community Stroke Team in both Lambeth and Southwark, 2b Inpatient Neuro Rehab ward and Neuro-Inpatients at St Thomas' Hospital.

Applicants should have clinical experience in Neurorehabilitation at least at Band 6 level, ideally with some experience within the community. Transferrable skills will also be considered. Please see the attached job description form for further details.

Working with our partners in Lambeth and Southwark, we are focusing on new ways of working to improve care for local patients.
