Full Job Description
Are you an existing highly specialist (Band 7 ) Speech and Language Therapist looking for a change, or an experienced senior (Band 6) ready for the next step working with adults who have communication and swallowing problems as a result of a stroke?
A very warm welcome awaits you at Wirral University Teaching Hospital in the Stroke Early Supported Discharge (ESD) Team
The ESD team is based at Clatterbridge General Hospital and comprises of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Assistants, along with Speech and Language Therapists.
You will have a Speech and Language degree qualification and be registered with the HCPC and ideally be a member of RCSLT., The post involves provision of assessment, treatment and advice to adults with communication and swallowing difficulties as a result of a stroke in their own homes.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated to work with adults and have excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills and be an enthusiastic team member.
