Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a fixed term post to cover maternity leave, as a Speech and Language Therapist, within the Integrated Austim Team. As a service there has been a number of exciting developments including the relocation to a new base within Ysbyty George Thomas in Treorchy. For the right candidate there will be opportunity for training in assessment processes i.e ADOS., The post holder will deliver and support the provision and development of specialist Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Services for autistic adults who require assessment and intervention arising from autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). The post holder will work as part of the Cwm Taf Integrated Autism Service (IAS) supporting all ages with Autistic Spectrum Disorder to access resources and activities enabling them to engage with others, occupy roles and live as active member of society. The post holder will work alongside adults and their families providing joint working, consultation, training, advice and support for other professionals.
