Full Job Description

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to step into the role of Team Leader for our General Medicine Speech and Language Therapy team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

In this role, you will lead a growing team, delivering top-notch Speech and Language Therapy services across medical and surgical wards at three hospital sites. The caseload is varied and fast-paced, presenting stimulating challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

The successful candidate will provide clinical and team leadership to a small but growing team of Speech and Language Therapists including sickness, supervision and appraisals. They will be responsible for day to day coordination of the team and case load management.

They will also provide expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment for adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties providing senior support for the team.
