Highway Inspector

We're looking for a Highway Inspector to join our Transportation team based in Brixworth / Towcester. Within this role, you can enjoy a fantastic, matched pension scheme, 24/7 virtual GP service for you and your family, a competitive annual holiday entitlement, with opportunities to buy/sell leave and even more., As a Highway Inspector, you'll be working within the Asset & Professional Services team, supporting them in undertaking walked and driven safety inspections of the highway network including the determination of maintenance measures required to rectify defects identified Kier. Your day to day will include:

• Undertaking safety inspections on the highway network in accordance with the Highway Safety Inspection Manual and the "Code of Practice Well Managed Highways Infrastructure"
• Recording your inspection findings through an asset management system and preparing work packs for defect rectification.
• Managing your own programme of walked and driven inspections each month
What are we looking for? This role of Highway Inspector is great for you if:
• You possess an education or qualification in highway inspecting
• Work experience in the highway maintenance sector
• Have undertaken highway inspections, already holding LANTRA accredited Highways Inspection certificate although training will be given
