Highway Maintenance Technician

Reporting to the O&M Technology Manager, the Highway Maintenance Technician is a Field Based role and will cover maintenance works in the South West and South East (M25, M4, M3, M27 and M11) The role is mainly working days but there will be times you will be required to work Nights, which will normally be planned in advance. Highway Maintenance Technician, What you'll do:

• Completion of all the associated documentation required as part of any task and submitted on time
• Clearing vegetation from the Network for access to technology assets,
• Rectification of defects including graffiti, building maintenance, lock maintenance and 'making good'.
• Report any QEHS issue to their QEHS representative and Line Manager
• Collaborate with other teams in telent to resolve operational issues and contribute to a sustainable business.
Who you are: We would welcome applications form anyone who has worked on any previous maintenance projects or someone who enjoys working outside and would like a change of career or new challenge, as training will be given.

• Ideally have experience in groundworks including levelling and laying flagstones
• Practical skills including carpentry, building maintenance, painting and decorating
• PC literate in Microsoft Office suite, Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
• Drug & Alcohol Testing is a requirement for the role
• Hold a Full UK Driving licence
