Full Job Description
We are seeking an Engineer to join our Highways team. As a team, we are committed to making Islington more equal, to create a place where everyone, whatever their background, has the opportunity to reach their potential and enjoy a good quality of life.
In this role, you will provide specialist highway engineering services and support junior professional, technical and support officers in the service area. Working under the supervision of the highways engineering manager and alongside other team members, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and with a varied workload. You will also work alongside various internal and external stakeholders including our term contractor to provide the best value for money service for our customers.
You will have the experience and ability to provide comments and undertake highways section 106 and section 278 agreements.
- Have the ability to provide estimates for public highway works.
- Be able to produce AutoCAD drawings for highways schemes., Disability Confident
