Highways Inspection drivers

As a driver you will be required to team up with Wiltshire council's inspectors and drive them across the network while they inspect the highways. This role is a fixed term position for 6 months starting in November 2024. We have 3 roles available based across our depot in Melksham, Chippenham and Wilton. Milestone Infrastructure are the leading provider of highways infrastructure in the UK and look after more than 24,000 miles of roads, 280,000 lighting assets and 20,000 miles of footways, always with a view to ensuring that all works are carried out as sustainably as possible and with minimal impact to local communities. As the driver responsibilities will be:

• Driving highways inspectors across Wiltshire's road network.
• Care and basic maintenance of vehicle.
  
  Knowledge of local area
• Clean driving licence
• Basic knowledge of health & safety requirements
