Full Job Description

We are looking for a creative, active and open-minded History Teacher to join our family feel team. You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. We are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard, aren't afraid of getting dirty on the farm or in workshops and who are resilient, active and caring.

  • Hands on and experience with materials and tools.

  • Previous experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN) isn't essential but it is preferred.

  • To be able to teach engaging History lessons using you own initiative whilst having an excellent knowledge of the national curriculum.

  • Maintain effective behaviour management.


  • Educated to Post Graduate Cert Ed/QTS level, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Dibden Park School will place 60 students and will cater to students with social and emotional mental health and other complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and develop with a new staff team in a newly established independent special school.
