Full Job Description
- Teach History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level History for the right candidate.
- Create and adapt curriculum materials in line with the school's objectives and national standards.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing tailored feedback to support academic development and achievement.
- Use assessment data to inform your teaching, address learning gaps, and provide individual support to students.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and the wider school through reflective practice.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and support school events as part of the broader school community.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). - Experience teaching History in secondary schools.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum for History.
- A Bachelor's degree in History or a related field (desirable).
