History Teacher (with the ability to lead and
teach A-Level politics an advantage)
Required from January 2025
MPS or UPS salary scale £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (pay award pending)
Are you an outstanding History Teacher? Are you committed to delivering inspirational
lessons for our students, in order that they can achieve well? If the answer to the questions
above is yes, Light Hall could be the school for you.
We are seeking someone to work with us to secure the very best outcomes for students at
our school.
Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply. We offer a structured, supportive and
personalised ECT induction with support from a mentor and training. Bespoke professional
development will be provided.
In return, we can offer you a school and senior leadership team who will encourage you and
allow you to play an active part in our continued school improvement. Our students are
enthusiastic, keen to learn and demonstrate excellent conduct, behaviour and attitudes to
learning. In addition, we have a team of dedicated and enthusiastic teachers and Lead
Practitioners and excellent resources.
You will be joining us at a very exciting time. Our sixth form has recently opened. This brings
with it numerous opportunities for continued development. The successful candidate will have
