Full Job Description
We have an opportunity for a Team Leader to support our Holiday Cottage Team at Blickling Estate, in addition during times of absence and working patterns there is likely to be the requirement to help at both Sheringham and Felbrigg cottages. Hours: 16 hours a week. Working over 4 days out of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. There will also be the requirement for working one Saturday a month., The position will be to check cottages to ensure that they are bring prepared and managed to the highest levels at all times. Attention to and an eye for detail is of paramount importance to ensure high consistent standards are met at all times, working to our Holiday Cottages Brand Standards. Some updating of documents will be required along with completion of assessments/audits for which training will be given. You will assist and induct members of our housekeeping team as required. There will be the expectation that you cover some cleaning to cottages where our bookings means that we do not have enough members of the housekeeping team to cover for arrivals You will assist with the co-ordination of routine maintenance and repairs. Health and Safety compliance and good environmental management is essential. You will be familiar with working to risk assessments, COSHH procedures, accident reporting, and fire safety. We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- practical experience in an operational role in a holiday operating environment
- a good understanding of necessary standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance
- some supervisory experience, good people skills, confidence dealing with a variety of situations including incidents and complaints
