Full Job Description
The Home Care Brokerage role is vital to the County Councils response to current challenges faced by Adult Social Care and the NHS. This position will be made up of a mixture of home and office working and is for 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. You will be asked to broker agencies from a framework of providers to meet the Homecare needs to assist Hospital Discharge and to enable individuals to continue to live in their own home. We are looking for individuals who can communicate clearly and effectively providing a superior level of customer care. Who can build working relationships with private providers. Record and utilise the intelligence gained to assist yourself and your colleagues with the Brokerage process., We are keen to support employees to balance their working life with other commitments. Therefore, wherever possible, we will consider working arrangements that suit an individual's personal circumstances whilst still meeting the needs of the Council. Do you have good communication skills and thrive from building good working relationships?,
- Have a good level of customer service experience
- Have an understanding of the commissioning processes in relation to care needs of service users, receiving a managed service
- Have the ability to converse at ease with customers
- Be able to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Have good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Be competent in the use of Microsoft packages
