Full Job Description
Assisting or prompting individuals with administering medication and treatments. Supporting with personal care, such as washing, and dressing. Duties around the house, including washing dishes, laundry and tidying up. Moving individuals safely using specialist equipment. Preparing food and prompting or assisting at mealtimes. Companionship and emotional support. Trips out into the community for appointments and wellbeing. Committing to working a minimum of 16 hours a week, and every other weekend. Here at ND Care & Support, we are looking for dedicated individuals in the Abergavenny area, to support people to remain independent in their own homes with dignity. You might already be working in the Care industry or looking for a more rewarding change of career, whatever your goal is, we will support you every step of the way. As a registered member of the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW), we pride ourselves in the exceptional level of service we offer to our clients, carried out by our remarkable Carers. We offer £13.45 per hour weekdays and £14.01 per hour weekends, which includes your rolled-up holiday pay. We will cover the cost of your Enhanced DBS check, Social Care Wales registration fee and a Blue Light Card-saving you over £70! (We will reimburse you for the Blue Light Card and SCW registration fee on proof of purchase and once you have worked for us for more than four weeks). Finally, we will pay you to attend a five-day Induction and training course at our office (paid at national minimum wage, once you have worked for us for a minimum of 50 hours). Introduce us to like-minded people and once they have been in post for 12 weeks, you both get a £150 bonus!,
