Pay Rate: £31,515.99 Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Any 5 out of 7 - 48 hour working week - includes working 1 day over the weekend - early starts from 06:00am Location: Scunthorpe - DN15 9YA DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises / to customers' homes
• Maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident
• Will complete around 40 multi drops a day
• Deliveries include white goods, furniture, electrical appliances - manual handling is required
• Be willing to train to install wet goods (washing machines) and heavy goods (American fridge freezers)

• High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit
• Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions
• This is a customer facing position which you will be using the phone a lot to speak to customers which means communication is a must have
• You will need to clear criminal record check
• This role will include heavy lifting which will include 2 person lifts
