Full Job Description

To provide with other team members the home enteral nutrition (HEN) service to Adult and Paediatric patients in the community within Lincolnshire.

To have responsibility for providing a Home Enteral Nutrition Dietetic Service including domiciliary visits for Patients.

To provide training for patients, carers and staff members on Home Enteral Nutrition.

To Provide a dietetic service to the inpatient rehabilitation unit as required.

Cover for adult Rehabilitation, Head and Neck cancer, Stroke, Medical, Surgical work and

Home Enteral Nutrition may also be required

To contribute to the development and evaluation of the post.

The post is suitable to dieticians with only minimal post-graduate experience as you will be given the opportunity to gain relevant experience and develop your knowledge and skills in community services and home enteral nutrition. You will be part of a friendly and dedicated team of dieticians and dietician assistants, whose aim is to provide an excellent, compassionate and cost effective service. The post provides also provides home visits to those patients unable to attend a hospital appointment in addition to community based clinics.

If you are interested in home enteral nutrition, community dietetics and outpatient clinics and are enthusiastic about Paediatric Dietetics and have a desire to take relevant post-registration training, this post is for you. Car driver and access to transport is required.
