Full Job Description

As a Home Ownership Officer, you will play a key role in managing our relationships with leaseholders and shared owners. You will be the main point of contact for queries, providing expert advice on lease terms, service charges and home ownership rights. You'll ensure legal compliance, manage applications for lease extensions, and support the Home Ownership Manager with Section 20 consultations and policy development., We offer a supportive working environment, a commitment to professional development, and the chance to make a real impact in the communities we serve. This role is home-based, but you will need to be based within the south of England to enable you to attend Hastoe offices for meetings and to attend resident engagement events. During the probationary period it will be necessary to attend Hastoe offices and meet Hastoe colleagues more frequently, so we can get to know each other and establish good working relationships. Annual Leave: Starting at 25 days, plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part time) and 1.5 days complimentary leave, along with the option to purchase additional leave. Enhanced Pension: Hastoe's employer contributions start at 5% and are based on matching of your own contribution level, plus 2%, up to a maximum of 8% employer contribution.

  • Experience in housing management, with a focus on leasehold and shared ownership
  • Strong knowledge of service charges, Section 20 consultations, and property law related to leaseholders
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.

    Hastoe owns and manages more than 7,500 homes across the south of England from Devon to Norfolk. We are a social housing landlord and England's leading rural housing specialist. We deliver small housing developments in partnership with local communities although for historic reasons, we also own some housing in urban areas.

    Salary: Up to £39,666 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, Hours: Full time (35 hours), with occasional working outside of normal office hours
