Home School Liaison Worker

Our school has been serving the community for over 150 years and we provide a caring and nurturing environment for all the children attending St James'.

We are looking to appoint a Home School Liaison Officer to

• To direct support for parents/carers enabling access and opportunities for all pupils



• To help and establish and maintain positive relationships between school staff and parents/carers and encourage consistent school attendance



• To work with and help facilitate pupils' successful inclusion in school life, Learning at St James' is exciting and fun, children get messy and enjoy talking about their learning. Classrooms are vibrant and full of resources to make sure that pupils obtain the knowledge, skills and understanding that they need to thrive. Our pupils are hard-working individuals who enjoy their learning and who support each other to improve.


Our Christian school has a strong ethos to ensure pupils achieve. The school has a supportive staff team who are committed to improving learning outcomes for pupils.
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
