The Role: Homes Manager

As a Homes Manager at New Era Residence, you will be a crucial part of our mission to create a nurturing and empowering environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Achieving and Maintaining CQC Registration: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

- Implementing and Monitoring Practices: Review and refine practices and systems to exceed service standards.

- Communication and Liaison: Maintain effective communication with staff, young people, families, and other stakeholders while respecting confidentiality.

- Promoting Company Values: Uphold and advocate for our values in all aspects of the role.

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.

- Providing High-Quality Support: Deliver exceptional care and support to our young residents.

- Team Management: Support in recruiting for your team, train, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Experience: At least 2 years of senior/managerial experience in a similar sector, with a background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, Autism, and complex needs.

- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualification (Level 5) or equivalent.

- Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets and financial control.

- Commitment to Equal Opportunities: A deep understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities and person-centered support.

- Legislative Knowledge: Familiarity with current Health & Social Care legislation, including the Mental Health Act.

- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

- CQC Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of CQC standards and a commitment to maintaining high safeguarding standards.,
